Living the fan girl life!!

I really don’t know where to start. I’m currently sitting at Marylebone station trying to piece together what actually happened last night…I know I will definitely confirm that I am staying in the green lane until I die though!

So last night was JLS live in Brighton. Now this one, I’d got a meet and greet – it’s my 40th birthday next month so present to myself right? It’s allowed! We’d all been to Spoons before hand (I mean, it’s always the best and cheapest place to go before a show) and went down to check in for the ‘VIP life style’ straight after. We all grabbed our goodie bags – inside we had a ring light, a presigned picture, a lanyard, a wristband – and headed up the stairs to start queuing for meet and greet itself.

(So I did mean to carry this on but I fell asleep on the way home and then been busy working, so 12 days later I’m finally getting round to it!)

With the meet and greet, I went up (wearing the birthday sash) to have JB give me a massive hug and be like ‘Happy birthday babe’ so I had to explain that the birthday is actually later on. Marvin was next and I got ‘Babe! I finally get to see you!’ followed by Reesh and Aston. We then had a q&a session which resulted in a lot of laughs before being escorted back out and sent downstairs to wait until the doors officially opened.

Let’s skip to the show though – I mean I was 2nd row this time and the brighton centre is SO much more intimate than other arenas – it roughly holds 6000 people compared to Utilita Arena Birmingham, which holds 15400.

But the main thing of that show? I was picked by Marvin to be an IKWSL girl (I know what she likes). To have that experience was surreal and I genuinely couldn’t stop smiling. To be honest, even nearly 2 weeks later I don’t think I’ve come down off cloud 9!

The boys have now got a break (well Marvin hasn’t as he’s in this year’s series of I’m a Celeb) but summer tour is already on sale for next year so grab a ticket and come and see an amazing show!
